  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

Short description:

The aim of the classes is to improve the ability of voice emission, appropriate use of movement, maintaining contact with the interlocutor by the student - graduate and preparing to function in a professional environment. The training will allow participants to plan their professional development path and prepare to enter the labor market.

Full description:

Class in workshop form will include subject related to: art. Of preparing and taking a presentation before audience. The first step of training will begin with mastering the skill of telling about yourself and diagnose the biggest barriers which are blocking the students from presenting themselves. During later part of class, the following topics will be discussed: preparing plan of public presentation, recognising types of audience, methods of creating and modifying style of speech in direct contact with audience, art of picking the right argumentation, refuting the allegations and managing in situations of forgetting the speech. Further part of class will be devoted to techniques of overcoming the fear of public presentation and positive usage of stress (relaxation techniques). Also, there will be discussion and practice of topics such as: maintaining contact with audience, maintaining of audience attention, voice emission (in regard of proper diction, audibility and intonation), proper usage of movement (body language, gesticulation, face expressions and choosing an outfit during autopresentation and public presentations). Final element will focus around learning the methods of coping with difficult listener, that is the art of discussion and answering the questions as a part of public presentation.
