ECTS credit allocation (and other scores):	1.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles: the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS; the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h; 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes; weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS; work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Learning outcomes - knowledge:	K_W05 has a basic knowledge of human subjectivity thinking and acting, constitutive social structures and the development of biological, psychological and social K_W09 has knowledge of the elementary norms and principles (legal, organizational, moral, ethical) governing actions in social work and functioning of the institutions of social assistance K_W12 has knowledge of the main views on the structures and social institutions and modes of social relations and their historical evolution
Learning outcomes - skills:	K_U03 can use basic theoretical knowledge to analyze and to understand human behavior, their motives, patterns and conditions. K_U06 correctly uses the normative systems and certain standards and rules (legal, professional, moral) necessary for the implementation of tasks in the field of social welfare and social work with regard to social work; K_U07 uses theoretical knowledge to resolve the dilemmas associated with the profession of social worker
Learning outcomes - social competencies:	K_K04: correctly identifies and resolves dilemmas associated with the profession of social worker K_K05 know how to participate in the preparation of projects, taking into account the social aspects of the methodological, ethical, legal and economic K_K06 can complement and improve the acquired knowledge and skills for social work

Short description:	The course will discuss problems of social ethics and professional in the field of social work and social assistance.
Full description:	(in Polish) Ćwiczenia mają na celu przygotowanie studenta do analizy problemów etycznych, pojawiających się w kontekście pracy socjalnej. Przedmiotem refleksji będą zarówno zagadnienia z zakresu etyki ogólnej i jej filozoficznych podstaw, jak i przykładowe problemy moralne, przed którymi staje pracownik socjalny w codziennej pracy. Wykaz tematów: 1. Wprowadzenie do etyki 2. Godność podmiotu odniesień jako fundament norm moralnych 3. Godność podmiotu odniesień a kodeksy etyki pracownika socjalnego 4. Etyka cnoty w kontekście pracy socjalnej 5. Sprawiedliwość społeczna a praca socjalna 6. Przebaczenie w relacjach społecznych 7. Praca socjalna a moralny rozwój działającego podmiotu 8. Moralne dylematy pracownika socjalnego
