Learning outcomes - knowledge: | (in Polish) W1: Student is acquainted with main theoretical issues of the virtual tourism. W2: Student is acquainted with the state and prospects in the virtual tourism in selected countries/regions/cities. |
Learning outcomes - skills: | (in Polish) U1: Student is able to describe similarities and differences in virtual reality and augmented reality. U2: Student is able to describe similarities and differences in creating the virtual tourist space in selected countries/regions/cities. U3: Student is able to use the knowledge to create a concept of virtual tourist space for any type of area/city (historical, industrial, with the high developed services market). U4: Student is able to use the knowledge to choose the appropriate free software to create a virtual tour. |
Learning outcomes - social competencies: | (in Polish) K1: Student understands historical and cultural differences in virtual tourist space of various countries/regions/cities and will be more tolerant. |

(in Polish) Aim of course An Introduction to Virtual Tourism is to acquaint students with theoretical issues of the virtual tourist space and its basic components (geoportals, virtual tours, panoramas 360°, films, computer games). |

(in Polish) 1. General and theoretical issues (Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Virtual Tourist Space, Virtual Tourism). 2. Geoportals as components of Virtual Tourist Space and Virtual Tourism. 3. Virtual Tours as components of Virtual Tourist Space and Virtual Tourism. 4. Panoramas 360° as components of Virtual Tourist Space and Virtual Tourism. 5. Film Tourism phenomenon. 6. Virtual Tourism in chosen computer games. 7. Virtual Tourism in Poland. 8. Virtual Tourism in selected countries/regions/cities. |

(in Polish) Assessment methods: - attendance (only 2 absences are allowed). If the attendance criterion is not met, the student is not allowed to take the test and, consequently, does not pass the lecture; - test - types of questions: (1) long answer questions, (2) short answer questions, (3) matching, (4) multiple choice, (5) one choice - W1, W2, U1, U2, U3, U4. Assessment criteria: satisfactory: 50-59% satisfactory plus: 60-69% good: 70-79% good plus: 80-89% very good: 90-100% |
