Valid by the medical entity where the practice takes place.

W1: describes the principles of qualification and performance of basic surgical procedures and invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (F K_W03)

W2: explains the principles of perioperative safety, patient preparation for surgery, general and local anesthesia and controlled sedation (F K_W04)

W3: defines postoperative treatment with analgesic therapy and postoperative monitoring; (F K_W05)

U1: conducts a complete and focused physical examination of an adult patient (E K_U03)

U2: can perform basic medical procedures and treatments, including:

a) body temperature measurement, pulse measurement, non-invasive blood pressure measurement,

b) monitoring of vital signs using a cardiomonitor, pulse oximetry,

c) spirometry, oxygen treatment, assisted and replacement ventilation,

d) insertion of the oropharyngeal tube,

e) intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, peripheral venous cannulation, peripheral venous blood collection, blood culture collection, arterial blood collection, arterialized capillary blood collection,

f) taking swabs from the nose, throat and skin, puncture of the pleural cavity,

g) bladder catheterization in women and men, gastric probing, gastric lavage, enema,

h) standard resting electrocardiogram with interpretation, electrical cardioversion and cardiac defibrillation,

(i) simple strip tests and blood glucose measurement; (E K_U29)

U3: can keep the patient's medical records (E K_U38)

U4: apply the rules of asepsis and antisepsis;( F K_U03)

U5: inserts a peripheral line; (F K_U05)

U6: can examine the nipples, lymph nodes, thyroid gland and abdominal cavity in terms of acute abdomen, and perform a finger examination through the anus; (F K_U06)

K1: Shows respect towards the Patient and understanding for worldview and cultural differences (K_K05)

Exercises:

Oral test (0 - 16 points; > 75%): W1 - W3, U1, U4

Practical test (system 0-1): W1, W2, W3, U1 - U6

Final test (>60%): W1 - W3,

U1, U3, U4.

Extended follow-up (0 – 10 points; > 50%): K1
