Ability to subjective and objective examination (Basics of clinical medicine, Propaedeutics of internal medicine).

Knowledge of the pharmacology of basic drugs used in pulmonology

Knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of basic diseases of the respiratory system.

During the course students acquaint with general symptomathology of lung diseases. analyse diseases entity ; detail symtopathology, differentiation and treatment. The students also acquaint with education in the range of the smoking of the tobacco. All classes represent the risk factor morbidity rate, particular in infectious diseases ( the tuberculosis of lungs) .

The lecture student gets acquainted with the basics of diagnosis and differentiation of symptoms of respiratory disease. Also analyzes the various symptoms in relation to specific diseases. The final stage of the course is the combination of diagnostic symptoms of diseases and the combination of imaging diagnostics for diseases of the respiratory system.

On lectures student wiil be acquaint with the newest knowledge about the symptomatology of the diseases of the respiratory system, diagnostic of the lung diseases, bacteriological diagnostics in pneumonology with the special regard of special and non-specific bacteriology..There are also classes about the physiopathology of breathing and the symptomatology of the respiratory failure with the elements of the principles of the oxygen therapy and the lung cancer ( epidemiology and the risk factor, histopathology, the symptoms of the disease and therapy)

On tutorials students will acquaint with detecting, aetiology, pathogenesis, the diagnosis of pleural liquids- we lay emphasis on the mesothelioma. We discuss with details about the tuberculosis (epidemiology, microbiology, the clinical classification of tuberculosis,

antituberculosis regimen of drugs, the basic principles of the treatment of tuberculosis) and different mycobacteriosis. We lay emphasis on hospital, post- hospital pneumonia and aspiration pneumonia. It's important particularly in the aspect of the generality of occurrence of this illness. On classes students acquire a knowledge about mediacal examination and interpretation of bacteriological, radiographic and laboratory investigation. We lay emphasis on medical inestigation and how students take the history of patient particurarly in such diseases as COPD, asthma bronchiale, bronchiectasis ond diseases of bronchioles. Students learn about obturative sleep apnoea and interstitial diseases. for example idiopathic pulmonary fibroses, sarcoidosis.

On classes we say about manifastation of diseases of connective tissue in pulmonary system and also about life- threating states states in the clinic of the lung diseases. medical inestigation and how students take the history of patient particurarly in such diseases as COPD, asthma bronchiale, bronchiectasis ond diseases of bronchioles. Students learn about obturative sleep apnoea and interstitial diseases. for example idiopathic pulmonary fibroses, sarcoidosis.

Na zajęciach z przedmiotu - Pulmonologia z elementami onkologii układu oddechowego student zapoznaje się z symptomatologią ogólną z zakresu chorób płuc, analizuje jednostki chorobowe: symptomatologię szczegółową, różnicowanie oraz leczenie. Również student zapoznaje się z szeroko pojętą edukacją w zakresie palenia tytoniu. Wszystkie zajęcia przedstawiają czynniki ryzyka chorobowości szczególnie w zakresie chorób zakaźnych jak gruźlica płuc.
Pełny opis:

Na wykładzie student zapoznaje się z podstawami diagnostyki i różnicowania objawów chorobowych ze strony układu oddechowego. Również dokonuje analizy poszczególnych objawów w odniesieniu do poszczególnych jednostek chorobowych. Końcowym etapem wykładu jest połączenie diagnostyki objawów, jednostek chorobowych i połączenie diagnostyki obrazowej w zakresie chorób układu oddechowego.

Seminaria mają za zadanie przedstawić, najnowszą wiedzę z zakresu symptomatologii chorób układu oddechowego, badań diagnostycznych w zakresie chorób płuc, diagnostyki bakteriologicznej w pneumonologii ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem bakteriologii swoistej i nieswoistej. Również w zakres seminarium włączone są zajęcia z fizjopatologii oddychania i niewydolności oddechowej wraz z elementami zasad leczenia tlenem oraz rak płuca - epidemiologia i czynniki ryzyka, typy histopatologiczne, objawy choroby, rozpoznanie i leczenie.

Na ćwiczeniach student zapoznaje się z wykrywaniem, etiologią, patogenezą i diagnostyką płynów opłucnowych. Szczególny nacisk kładziemy na jednostki takie jak schorzenia opłucnej w tym międzybłoniak opłucnej. Szczegółowo jest omówiona gruźlica, jej epidemiologia, mikrobiologia, klasyfikacja kliniczna gruźlicy i podstawowe zasady leczenia gruźlicy oraz grzybice układu oddechowego i mykobakteriozy. Duży nacisk kładziemy na jednostkę chorobową jak zapalenia płuc z uwzględnieniem szpitalne zapalenia płuc, pozaszpitalne zapalenia płuc, zachłystowe zapalenie płuc Jest to ważne szczególnie w aspekcie powszechności występowania tego schorzenia. W zakresie tej jednostki student nabywa umiejętność dokładnego badania przedmiotowego, interpretuje badania dodatkowe jak mikrobiologiczne, obrazowe i analityczne. W aspekcie narastającego występowania duży nacisk kładziemy na badanie podmiotowe i przedmiotowe oraz diagnostykę różnicową w zakresie chorób dróg oddechowych, głównie przewlekła obturacyjną chorobą płuc, astmą oskrzelową, rozstrzenie i choroby oskrzelików. Uwrażliwiamy studenta na pojawiające się u chorych zaburzenia oddychania w czasie snu. Również student zapoznaje się i analizuje chorych z chorobami śródmiąższowymi płuc m.in. włóknienie płuc i sarkoidozę. Przedstawiamy również manifestacje chorób tkanki łącznej w układzie oddechowym oraz zagadnienia w zakresie stanów zagrożenia w pulmonologii. Dodatkowo na ćwiczeniach przedstawiamy organizację leczenia gruźlicy i chorób płuc w Polsce jak również wprowadzamy elementy edukacji antynikotynowej w aspekcie chorób układu oddechowego.
