  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;

Wymagania wstępne:

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and pathology. Complete knowledge of material from exercises, seminars and lectures on pharmacology conducted during the third year of study.

W 1. Characterizes particular groups of drugs used in the treatment of respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, genitourinary and nervous system diseases (C K_W34).

W2. He knows the mechanisms of drug action and their changes in the body, including those depending on age (C K_W35).

W3. Determines the influence of specific disease entities on the metabolism and elimination of drugs (C K_W36).

W4. He knows the main principles of pharmacotherapy (C K_W37). W5. He knows the side effects of drugs, including those resulting from interactions between them (C K_W38).

W6. He knows the problem of drug resistance, including multi-drug resistance C K_W39.

W7. Knows indications for genetic tests (in terms of individualization of pharmacotherapy (C K_W40).

W8. He knows the basic issues of general toxicology (C K_W42). W9. He knows the groups of drugs that are the most common cause of poisoning (C K_W43).

W10. He knows the basic principles of poisoning diagnostics (K_W45).

W11. He knows the basic principles of pharmacotherapy of diseases in the elderly (K_W10).

W12. He knows the indications for the implementation of monitored therapy (E K_W40).

W13. Defines basic pharmacoeconomic issues (E K_W41).

W14. He knows the basic provisions of pharmaceutical law (K_W11).

Efekty uczenia się - umiejętności:

U1. Performs pharmacokinetic calculations in the basic scope (E K_U 13).

U2. He adjusts drugs in appropriate doses in order to correct pathological phenomena in the body and in individual organs (E K_U 14).

U 3. Plans for infections chemotherapy (empirical and targeted) (C K_U15).

U4. Prepares records of all prescription forms of medicinal substances (C K_U16).

U5. Can use pharmaceutical guides and databases on medicinal products (C K_U17).

U6. It determines the toxicological risk in specific age groups and in the states of liver and kidney failure, and also prevents drug poisoning (C K_U18).

U 7. Interpret the results of toxicological determinations (C K_U19). U8. Chooses a therapy that minimizes social consequences for the patient (D K_U03).

U9. Advises on compliance with therapeutic recommendations and a healthy lifestyle (D K_U08). U10. Analyzes possible side effects of individual drugs and interactions between them (D K_U17).

U 11. Individualises current therapeutic guidelines and other methods of treatment in the face of ineffectiveness or contraindications to standard therapy (E K_U18).

U12 Interprets pharmaceutical characteristics of medicinal products and critically evaluates advertising materials concerning medicines (E K_U31).

U13. It enables basic treatment in acute poisoning (E K_U33).

U14. Assesses and monitors the condition of the sick person poisoned with chemicals or drugs (E K_U34).

Pełny opis:

The seminars aim to acquire knowledge in the field of pharmacogenetics, pharmacokinetics, especially regarding the problem of drug biotransformation, pharmacodynamics as well as monitoring of drug interactions and adverse effects.

Exercises are aimed at acquiring knowledge in the field of individualization and optimization of pharmacotherapy.
