Efekty uczenia się - wiedza: | (tylko po angielsku) Od roku akademickiego 2019/2020 obowiązują następujące efekty uczenia się: The student W1: has advanced knowledge of British literature from the Middle Ages up to contemporary authors and of such aspects as periodisation, genres and forms, and works by selected writers (K_W04) W2: has advanced knowledge of Anglophone literary studies (K_W05) W3: has advanced knowledge of selected historical, social, religious, philosophical and political issues determining the development of British literature since the nineteenth century (K_W07). |

(tylko po angielsku) The course examines the history of British literature from the Middle Ages to the post-war period, including a selection of literary works from each literary period. The course focuses on literary texts forming the canon of British literature, placing them in their historical and theoretical contexts. The students will examine selected works of poetry, fiction and drama, using basic literary concepts and referring to biographical and historical sources. |

(tylko po angielsku) Assessment methods: Written assignment– W1, W2, W3, U4, Presentation – W1, U1, U2, U4, K1, K2 Participation in discussion; mini-tasks– W1, U1, U3, U4, K1, K2. Assessment criteria: The final mark consists of: Written assignment – 50% of the final grade Presentation – 20% of the final grade Participation in discussion, mini-tasks (Moodle) - 30% of the final grade below 60%= fail 60%-69% = 3. 70%-76% = 3+ 77%-84% = 4. 85%-90% = 4+ 91%-100% = 5. |
