(tylko po angielsku) TRANSLATION STUDIES The seminar offers and overview of the major modes of audiovisual translation, with a focus on rephrasing content to fulfil ensure its unimpeded comprehension and meet technical requirements. LITERARY STUDIES The seminar offers an overview of a range of critical approaches to the study of mass media, film and new media with the aim to develop reading and research skills connected with media studies, and to provide students with the analytical tools to analyze various media texts and practices. |

(tylko po angielsku) TRANSLATION STUDIES - completion of in class tasks and homework (U1, 10%) - end-of-semester test, covering theoretical and practical tasks (W1, W2, W3, K1, 90%) LITERARY STUDIES Assessment of knowledge (W1, W2, W3): 1. Short tests; final presentation Assessment of skills (U1): 1. Oral assignments in class 2. Oral assignments at home Assessment of social competences (K1): 1. Graded participation and in-class task completion The final grade consists of the mark for: - active class participation (30% of the final grade) - quizzes (30% of the final grade) - final project (presentation) (40% of the final grade) Assessment criteria: fail – 0-59 % satisfactory – 60-69 % satisfactory plus – 70-75 % good – 76-85 % good plus – 86-90 % very good – 91-100 % |
