  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

W1 – The student has in-depth knowledge of major concepts related to audiovisual translation (K_W11)

W3 – The student knows the principles of preparing and editing texts for audiovisual translation (K_W13)


W4 - The student knows how to explain his/her decisions in audiovisual translation, respond to criticism and modify their translation (K_W06, K_W08)

U1 - The student adjust his/her translation to the skopos of the task and the expected profile of the audience (K_U02, K_U08)


U2 - The student conducts a pre-translation analysis of audiovisual texts, using a range of available sources (K_U01, K_U04, K_U11)


U3 - The student inteprets and analyses various audiovisual texts and their translations using specialized terminology (K_U13)


U4 - The student solves unexpected problems in audiovisual translation, adjusting translation techniques to the requirements of particular audiovisual texts (KU_03)

U1: The student is able to search for, analyse, select, interpret and use information from various reliable sources, using advanced technologies in their research (K_U01, K_U04).

U3: The student is able to critically analyse and interpret various texts, use specialist terminology and justify the selected methodology in the field of literary and cultural studies (K_U13).

The aims of Specialisation Seminar I are:

- to present the range of approaches in audiovisual translation,

- to present audiovisual translation in a professional and practical context,

- to develop reading and research skills connected with the field of study and academic interests.

The aim of the seminar is to discuss selected approaches in literary and cultural studies.

TRANSLATION STUDIES: audiovisual translation

The seminar offers an overview of the major modes of audiovisual translation, with a focus on rephrasing content to ensure its unimpeded comprehension and meet technical requirements.

In the winter semester of 2020/2021, the seminar will rely on Moodle activities (longer tasks, access to tutorials and recorded presentations, sample translations and documents) and on MS Teams meetings (shorter tasks, feedback and consultations).

LITERARY AND CULTURAL STUDIES

The seminar offers an overview of major critical tendencies in literary and cultural studies, in particular ecocriticism, posthumanism, and ethical criticism. The winter term is dedicated to the discussion of the relationship between humans and nature as represented in criticism, film, and fiction.
