Skrócony opis: |
The first part of the lectures will provide general information on the structure and functioning of ecosystems. The second part of the lectures, on the other hand, deals with more detailed information on the structure and functioning of aquatic ecosystems. |
Pełny opis: |
The following topics will be discussed during the lectures: classification and structure (biotope and biocenosis) of ecosystem, ecoton, food chain, food web and trophic levels, Shelford's law of tolerance and Liebig's law of the minimum, matter and energy in the ecosystem, biological productivity, ecological succesion, the greenhouse effect and ozone hole. In turn, lake as an example of an ecosystem in the second part of the lectures: patterns of lake water mixing, pelagic zone - thermal, oxygen and light conditions, water transparency, lake bottom, sources of nutrients in lake water, lake biocenosis, lake trophic states - eutrophication and its consequences. |
