W2: Student is acquainted with history of the polar regions discovery and first explorations.

W3: Student is familiar with contemporary transformations of the human activities in polar regions.

W4: Student is acquainted with selected cases of the present polar tourism.

(tylko po angielsku) U1: Student is able to describe the major features of the polar regions.

U2: Student can define and interpret relationships between geographical features of the polar regions and human activity possibilities.

U3: Student can describe the history and transformation of the human presence in polar regions.

U4: Student can demonstrate selected example of the contemporary polar tourism.

(tylko po angielsku) K1: Student understands the importance of multiethnic and multicultural cooperation in many fields of human activity in tough conditions of polar regions.
