Skrócony opis:	(tylko po angielsku) Invitation to Global History of Power is dedicated to present and work on social power in the scope of historical sociology. In this perspective the social power which brings to society itself (its interactions nets) causes most wide and universal reflection on the dynamics of global human history in every given period and space.
Pełny opis:	(tylko po angielsku) The aim of this course is to encourage students to think about their surrounding world as an effect of cumulative socio-historical processes in which power relations are dominant ones. In doing so the wide historical comparative perspective is needed along with clear theoretical model. First two or three terms of workshop will be dedicated to present the very idea of social power, the emergence of it and its different types. Then a universal analytical tool for quantify power will be introduced for individual research purposes which will consequently be used by students for their own investigations. The effects of this investigations will be presented and discussed through the rest of the course.

Metody i kryteria oceniania:	(tylko po angielsku) Final paper rated in 1-10 scale. The better empirical and theoretical analyse it contains better rate it will have (K1-K4; S1-S3). 0-3 - insufficient (0-30%) 4-5 - sufficient (31-50%) 6-8 - good (51-80%) 9-10 - very good (81%-100%)
