The graduate is able to make use of the acquired knowledge in global issues of tourism in various forms and is able to analyse critically the effectiveness and applicability of this knowledge in tourism topics K_U05 U2. The graduate is able to develop solutions in tourism issues and implement suggested recommendations in some project in the field of tourism K_U06 U3. has advanced skills in analyse and present scientific and popular scientific text in English; can lead thematic conversations in English K_U11 U4. can explain position of individual regions in the World in the context of their potential in tourism K_U09 |

(tylko po angielsku) Introduction – concepts of tourism and global role of tourism in the World. Factors affecting tourism development (environmental, socio-economic, political, etc.). Tourism trends vs. marketing strategies. Forms of tourism: sightseeing tourism, health tourism, spa tourism, medical tourism, ghetto tourism, ethno tourism, cultural tourism, adventure tourism (canoeing, skiing, horse riding, scuba diving, bungee jumping, etc.), wild life tourism, agritourism, urban tourism. Eco and sustainable tourism. Energy tourism. Polar tourism. Tourism in the regions of the World. Challenges and the future of tourism. |
