ECTS credit allocation (and other scores): 3.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles:
  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

The knowledge of microeconomics and principals of macroeconomics from the basic course.

U1 is able to identify contemporary macroeconomic problems and propose a research method to analyse them (K_U09)

K1 can apply knowledge to propose potential measures to be taken to mitigate the negative effects of contemporary macroeconomic problems (K_K01)

It lasts 80 minutes and it consists of 30 multiple choice questions (30 points) and 2 essay questions (10 points)

Assessment criteria:

3/satisfactory - [50%-60%] of the possible number of points, (21-24 points)

3+/satisfactory plus - [60%-70%] of the possible number of points, (25-28 points)

4/good - [70%-80%] of the possible number of points, (29-32 points)

4+/good plus - [80%-90%] of the possible number of points, (33-36 points)

5/very good - [90%-100%] of the possible number of points. (37-40 points)
