  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;

Course Objective

This course aims to introduce the principles and methods of business process management.

Emphasis is placed on to the role of process mapping as an instrument to understand and analyse business operations as well as measurement and optimisation of business processes.

Pełny opis:

This course exposes you to “process thinking”. As you engage with the course you will become aware of how business processes are around you everywhere, and the key role they play both in your personal and professional life as you provide and consume products and services.

We will be meeting synchronously in MSTeams (the code is : jon93hc). You will be encouraged to search, discuss and share your knowledge on Process Management, then you will prepare a report on one of the discussed topics.

We will look at the variety of business examples, the students will meet business practitioners: Mr Andrzej Redo (Development Director at Egis Poland, based in Warsaw) and Ms Zofia Mróz (Marketing Manager for Hasbro in Asia, based in Hong Kong) and have an opportunity to discuss the processes in different environments.

Metody i kryteria oceniania:

The course meeting are held every other week (8 meetings in a semester). We will meet at MSTeams, synchronously.

Attendance and preparation is mandatory. When interacting (speaking, discussing etc) with others you are requested to turn on the cameras (which supports communication to a great extent)

The materials will be uploaded to MSTeams Class Materials. The Assignments will be settled in MSTeams
