Skrócony opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) The aim of the course is to remind and broaden the knowledge of anatomy and physiology of nervous system and to introduce the disturbance of its structure and function, which are the basement of neurological disease. The clinical part is focused on obtaining ability to perform neurological examination, differential diagnosis and treatment of the neurological diseases. |
Pełny opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) The seminars focused on etiology, diagnostic and treatment of neurological diseases. Expose the most important symptoms suggesting diagnosis of the diseases. Shows elements of neurological examination important for syndrom and localisation diagnosis. Elucidate the basic aspect of differential diagnosis. Presents the best diagnostic, treatment nursing and rehabilitation options. The exercise should give the students ability of neurological examination and its interpretation. Student on assistant's supervision perform full neurological examination - objective and subjective, reports pathologies, analyze them for etiology, suggests syndrome and localization diagnosis, makes differential diagnosis with other possible etiology of patients condition. During the exercises the assistant shows how to fill medical documentation, Student by the supervision of assistant analyse and interpret laboratory and radiological tests, especially neuroimaging. The topics of seminars correspond with exercises topics |

Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
(tylko po angielsku) From anatomy - pass with a grade carried out by the Department of Anatomy, In radiology - pass with an assessment carried out by the Department of Radiology. After completing the neurology classes, an oral practical exam is held - the grade is included in the grade for the joint exam. From pathology of the nervous system, neurology, neurosurgery and rehabilitation- joint test exam - the number of questions in individual subjects proportional to ECTS points (0.4, 3.8, 1.7, 0.4, respectively). Assessment of the joint test exam: percentage of the number of tasks assessment 92% and above - very good 88% and above -good + 80% and above- good 71% and above- sufficient + 60% and above -sufficient <60% negative/false Common Exam Grade: (grade from the joint test exam * 1.5 + grade from the practical exam in neurology * 1) / 2.5 Final evaluation of the module: (anatomy grade * 0.4 + radiology grade * 0.4 + common exam grade * 6.3) /7.1 The final grade for the module is determined with an accuracy of 0.001 and rounded up to 0.01 according to the rule that if the last digit is less than five, it is omitted, and if it is greater than 4, 0.01 is added. Final Rating: 1) up to 3.49 - sufficient, 2) 3.50 to 3.83 - sufficient plus, 3) 3.84 to 4.16 - good, 4) 4.17 to 4.50 - good plus, 5) above 4.50 – very good.
