Efekty uczenia się - wiedza: | Basic knowledge aout the Westminster Political Systems, mainly about the Unkited Kingdom and Australia. However the systems of these countries are presented and discussed in a broader perspective of the Westminster systems. |
Efekty uczenia się - umiejętności: | Understanding how the Westiminster political system work, what are the similarites and differences between different democraies that adapted the system. Understanding English vocabulary and collocations in the topic of political studies, especailly conected with political and party systems. |

Skrócony opis: |
The main aim of the course is to get the students interested in the political systems of the United Kingdom and Australia. The course will start with introductory classes on key issues and concepts in political science. And then - in comparative perspective - we will discuss the main elements and institutions of the UK and Australian political systems. We will try to assess the similarities and differences between the two countries. The additional aim of the course is also to introduce to the students English vocabulary on political and party systems, some characteristic to Westminster systems. |
