(tylko po angielsku) In the philosophy of mind referring to cognitive science and taking into account the results of the empirical researches, we meet the main question about the compatibility of philosophical and neurological approach in defining the subject (thinker) and in the description of his cognitive abilities in relation to the world and himself. The answers reflect on a more general approach to the question of what is the mind. At the seminar student is confronted with the leading texts in the recent literature, which presents the issues from both sides: cognitive and psychological, such as the problem of determinism and free will, self-consciousness or understanding on the basis of empirical research. |
