  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

W1: has basic knowledge of DTP tools used in literature- and culture-related design

W2: knows basic terminology used in editorial and textual studies.

W3: has essential knowledge of DTP software

U1: is able to use DTP tools in his/her designs linked to selected literary and cultural studies

U2: is capable of using editorial projects to show his/her understanding and interpretation of selected literary works and cultural artefacts

U3: can apply DTP tools in promoting literary and cultural developments

U4: can use essential DTP software for creative designs connected to the development of literature and culture at present

The student

K1: understands the significance of visual design in spreading creative ideas linked to literary works and cultural artefacts

K2: is sensitive to various visual interpretations of literary works and cultural artefacts in a multicultural university environment

Skrócony opis:

The aim of the course is to discuss selected typographical and editorial aspects pertaining to the creation, publication and distribution of literary works and cultural artefacts in English.

Pełny opis:

The main focus is on the paratextual features of literary works and cultural artefacts in the context of their existence and use in different contexts and environments. The course participants will also develop basic desktop and digital publishing skills in designing covers, posters, blurbs, cultural and literary ephemera (show bills and programmes), and even short literary works. The students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their approaches to literature and culture by means of visual designs.

- active class participation (40% of the final grade)

- presentation (60% of the final grade)

satisfactory- 55 – 69 %

satisfactory plus- 70 – 74 %

good - 75 – 84 %

good plus- 85 – 89%

very good- 90 – 100%
