Learning outcomes - knowledge: | The student W1: has advanced knowledge of British literature and of such aspects as periodisation, genres and forms, and works by selected authors (18th -19th century) (K_W04) W2: has advanced knowledge of literary studies (K_W05). W3: has advanced knowledge of selected historical social, religious, philosophical and political issues determining the development of British culture (18th-19th century) (K_W08). |
Learning outcomes - skills: | The student U1: is able to place the studied works in a general historical and cultural context of the development of British literature (K_U11). U2: is able to recognise literary genres and conventions of the studied works (K_U12). |
Learning outcomes - social competencies: | The student K1: appreciates British tradition and cultural heritage in the context of development of European literature and is aware of their responsibility for preserving them (K_K03). K2: participates in activities for promoting British tradition and cultural heritage (K_K04). |
