The aim of the course: analysis of global issues in tourism |
Pełny opis: |
Introduction – concepts of tourism and global role of tourism in the World. Factors affecting tourism development (environmental, socio-economic, political, etc.). Tourism trends vs. marketing strategies. Forms of tourism: sightseeing tourism, health tourism, medical tourism, senior tourism, volunteer tourism, cultural tourism, event tourism, adventure tourism (canoeing, skiing, horse riding, scuba diving, bungee jumping, etc.), wild life tourism, agritourism. Eco and sustainable tourism. Tourism in the regions of the World. Challenges and the future of tourism. |
