3. Current social and economic issues: economic transformation, migration, EU integration.

4. Cities of Poland: history of cities, current transformations in cities, tourism in cities.

5. Nature of Poland: types and examples of natural landscape, nature protection, natural tourist attractions.

6. Tourism in Poland: attractions, centers, and regions; organization and statistics; main directions of inbound international tourism, tourism activity of the Poles.

Assessment methods:

- final test - W1, W2, W3, U1, K2

- final assignment: preparation of a thematic tourist trip - W3, U2, K1, K2

- active participation in classes - W1, W2, W3, U1, K1, K2

Assessment criteria:

- final test - 40% of final note (3.0 – 50% points; 3.5 – 60%; 4.0 – 70%; 4.5 – 80%; 5.0 – 90%)

- final assignment: preparation of a thematic tourist trip – 40% of final note

- active participation in classes - 20% of final note
