Całkowity nakład pracy studenta: | (tylko po angielsku) Contact hours with teacher - participation in lectures - 15 hrs - consultation - 5 hrs Self-study hours - writing a manuscript on the topic of the Master or PhD thesis - 20 hrs - reading literature - 10 hrs Altogether: 50 hrs (2 ECTS) |

Efekty uczenia się - kompetencje społeczne: | (tylko po angielsku) PhD students will have the competence to judge the importance of the need to publish scientific results even if they may not be very interesting at the present time. If scientific results are not communicated, no one will be aware of their existence! This happens to so many theses from all over the world that are written in a foreign language that no one can read and from which no papers have been published. |

(tylko po angielsku) Based on the experience of the teacher with the writing of more than 930 scientific papers, reviews and monographs, students will be guided to write a manuscript on their present work being done as part of their PhD thesis, or on earlier work done as part of a Master thesis in case no manuscript has been prepared or published on that work. |

(tylko po angielsku) Systematic presentation of the contents of a scientific manuscript. Detailed discussion of the theme, authors, affiliations, abstract, introduction, experimental section, results and discussion, conclusions, acknowledgements and references, of the manuscript to be prepared and evaluated as final exam. |

(tylko po angielsku) Examples from manuscripts published by top experts in the different fields covered by the present PhD thesis that students are working on. |
Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
(tylko po angielsku) Assessment method: Evaluation will be performed on the basis of the manuscript prepared by the student at the end of the course. The student will be asked to present a 15 min seminar on the basis of the written manuscript. Assessment criteria: fail: 0-49%; satisfactory: 50-60%; satisfactory plus: 61-65%; good: 66-75%; good plus: 76-80%; very good: 81-100% |
