This subject raises issues related to the toxic effects of chemical compounds and their impact on the environment and human functioning. The lecture will present students with the area of interest of modern toxicology and will familiarize students with the negative effects of selected toxic agents on the body. The fate of toxic substances in the body and the mechanisms of their toxic action will be discussed. |
