| Efekty uczenia się - wiedza: | The student: W1: has in-depth knowledge of the terminology used in various areas of business activity, such as recruitment processes, human resource management, corporate communication, or international business (K_W11). W2: has in-depth knowledge of professional ethics, corporate social responsibility, and compliance in international business (K_W12). W3: has in-depth knowledge of legal and financial principles underlying the creation and development of various business organisations, e.g. sole proprietorships, partnerships, or corporations (K_W13). |
| Efekty uczenia się - umiejętności: | The student: U1: is able to work effectively in a team, evaluating, refining, or implementing proposals from team members, setting objectives for collaborative work, and/or coordinating contributions to accomplish business-related tasks, e.g. preparing workshops (K_U09). U2: is able to address challenges resulting from intercultural differences in business communication by adapting his/her behaviour and language use appropriately (K_U12). U3: is able to use English for business purposes in accordance with the C1+ level, fluently applying specialised terminology and idiomatic expressions in selected business areas, effortlessly adapting language use to the required register, and producing formal business correspondence in accordance with established conventions (K_U14). |
| Efekty uczenia się - kompetencje społeczne: | The student: K1: recognizes and appreciates the standards of business communication in various professions and acts appropriately to maintain them (K_K04). K2: demonstrates entrepreneurial competence by responding to the demands of international business environments, proposing adequate strategies and taking responsible actions to achieve objectives (K_K05, K_K06). |

The content delivered during the course focuses on both the presentation and discussion of selected aspects of the professional activity as well as the development of productive and receptive language skills on the basis of tasks typical of business-related contexts, e.g. participating in the recruitment process, taking part in (intercultural) negotiations, or working on collaborative projects. | Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
Assessment methods: - 20% of the final grade: participation during classes, preparation and homework completion (W1, U1, U2, K1) - 30% of the final grade: mid-term assignment (W1, U1, U3, K1, K2) - 50% of the final grade: final test (W1, W2, W3, U2, U3, K2) Grading scale: 2 – below 60% 3 – 60-69% 3.5 – 70-75 % 4 – 76-85% 4.5 – 86-90% 5 – 91-100% The student must obtain an average of at least 60% to get a passing final grade. If the student misses seven (or more) classes, he/she may not receive a passing final grade (no unexcused absences are allowed). All the above principles are applied to both traditional and remote teaching situations. |
