Benton • Presentations 1*, followed by discussion • Presentations 2*, followed by discussion • Presentations 3*, followed by discussion • Presentations 4*, followed by discussion • “All texts are equal, but... Textual Plurality and the Critical Text in Digital Scholarly Editions” by Franz Fischer • “The Third Way. Philology and Critical Edition in the Digital Age” by Tara L. Andrews • Revision class • Final assignment – a quiz • Feedback (two classes) * Students selected different editions of the same work and discuss their their paratextual features, paying attention to peritextual and epitextual details. |
