Efekty uczenia się - umiejętności: | (tylko po angielsku) MA SEMINAR IN LITERARY AND CULTURAL STUDIES (dr hab. Edyta Lorek-Jezińska, prof UMK) (2022/2023) The student U1: is able to search for, analyse and interpret information from various sources, applying methods of literary and cultural studies and using advanced technologies in their research (K_U01, K_U04). U2: is able to select, apply and adjust research methods and tools to address both typical and non-typical research problems (K_U02). U3: is able to apply advanced theoretical perspectives and paradigms pertaining to literary and cultural studies and use their knowledge to formulate and test hypotheses concerning research problems (K_U07). U4: is able to undertake autonomous tasks in the field of cultural and literary studies, taking into account the objectives and instructions formulated by their academic supervisors (K_U08). U5: is able to gain and deepen their knowledge in the field of cultural and literary studies and develop their research skills on their own (K_U11). U6: is able to critically analyse and interpret various texts, use specialist terminology and justify the selected methodology in the field of cultural studies (K_U13). U7: is able to formulate critical opinions about cultural artefacts on the basis of academic knowledge and experience, and to present their critical opinions in various forms and media (K_U15). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MA SEMINAR IN TRANSLATION STUDIES (dr Dorota Guttfeld) (2022/2023) U1: is able to search for, analyse and interpret information from various sources, applying methods of literary and cultural studies and using advanced technologies in their research (K_U01, K_U04). U2: The student can manage the development of their project and schedule tasks and sub-tasks (reading, summarising, writing, data acquisition, etc.) required for the timely completion of parts of the MA thesis, adapting to the supervisor's feedback and unforseen circumstances (K_U03, K_U10, K_U11) U3: The student can identify gaps in their knowledge and existing research, pose well formulated research questions and select proper tools for answering these research questions (K_U2, K_U7) U4: is able to formulate critical opinions about translations and academic texts in translation studies, and express opinions with the use of specialist terminology, for example to justify the selection of a particular methodology or research material (K_U13, K_U15). ___________________________________________________________ MA SEMINAR IN EDITING STUDIES (dr Grzegorz Koneczniak) (2022/2023) U1: The student can include the MA supervisor’s comments concerning the individual research project; present his or her own alterations and do further research into the specific parts of the subject (K_U02, K_U08). U2: The student can develop his or her individual research project into further sections of the thesis written in academic English (C1+ level), with the properly kept argumentative structure, style sheet principles and recommendations and the copyright rules (K_U01, K_U03, K_U07). U3: The student can integrate his or her academic knowledge gained during the MA seminar discussion classes and other courses and use it in his or her individual project on the editorial specificity of selected editions of literary works (K_U13). ----------------------- MA SEMNAR IN LINGUITICS (dr hab. Waldemar Skrzypczak) (2022/2023) U1: The student can cooperate with the supervisor's advice and introduce relevant amendments and changes to the successive chapters (K_U02, K_U08). U2: The student can work individually on the academic format of the thesis, including academic English level of discourse (K_U01, K_U03, K_U07). U3: The student can drwa the final draft of the thesis with respect to all the formal requirements (K_U13). (tylko po angielsku) MA SEMINAR IN LITERARY AND CULTURAL STUDIES (dr hab. Edyta Lorek-Jezińska, prof UMK) (2022/2023) The aim of the MA seminar is to assist students in the process of researching and writing their MA theses in the field of literary and cultural studies. The third semester of the MA seminar in literary and cultural studies is devoted to the continuation of the research on the theoretical chapter, the choice of research methods and theories and the completion of the first chapter. Students will also continue their research on the practical chapters and write the draft version of the first practical chapter. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MA SEMINAR IN TRANSLATION STUDIES (dr Dorota Guttfeld) (2022/2023) The winter semester consists of individual meetings in which students discuss their ongoing work of the first theoretical chapter and preliminary research results to be analysed in the practical part of their thesis. _____________________________________________________________ MA SEMINAR IN EDITING STUDIES (dr Grzegorz Koneczniak) (2022/2023) The seminar, in the third semester, is divided into classes devoted to developing the students’ indiviudal research projects within selected aspects of book history, editing approaches to literary and cultural phenomena, Anglophone literature and culture. MA SEMINAR IN LITERARY STUDIES (dr Jarosław Hetman) (2022/2023) The third semester of the seminar is devoted to developing the concepts, hypotheses and literary analyses into the initial chapters of the MA theses. Simultaneusly, we will be ehnancing our analytical and interpretative skills on excepts from Don DeLillo's White Noise be approaching them from a variety of theoretical perspectives. |

Anna Branach-Kallas, prof UMK) (2021/22) The aim of this MA seminar is to assist students in the process of researching and writing their MA theses in the field of cultural and literary studies. The third semester of the MA seminar in cultural studies is devoted to the continuation of the research on the analytical chapters and the completion of the second chapter. Individual tutorials in winter semester will be conducted via MS Teams, Moodle and USOS-mail. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MA SEMINAR IN CULTURAL AND LITERARY STUDIES (dr hab.
