(in Polish) The aim of the seminar is to present the definition of energy security (its deepening and expanding aspects), as well as to assess the energy security of European states and the European Union. The aim is also to identify challenges and threats (internal and external) to energy security, as well as to show examples of cooperation in this area. The aim of the seminar is to discuss the issue of energy security in individual countries and regions of Europe as well as in the European Union itself. Analysis of issues relating to the security of energy supplies, as well as social, environmental and market security aspects. It will also indicate the threats and challenges facing the energy security of individual countries. |

The main aim of the lecture is to make students acquainted with rules of diplomatic protocol and good manners as well as with basic cultural differences, which can make existing in contemporary world much more easier. During the lecture basic principles of savoir-vivre in Poland, Europe and all over the world will be discussed. Among others below mentioned subjects will be talk through: preparation to and behaving during social and business meetings, dress code, intercultural negotiations, the most common mistakes and faux-pas and the best tips how to avoid it. |

A student’s grade depends on the active participation in discussions about the problems and the literature proposed in the syllabus. By the concept of active participation the instructor understands taking part in discussions (particularly, the instructor expects students to ask him questions concerning proposed problems) or giving an oral presentation on a given topic. Oral presentation should take a stance on the topic, pose questions and propose solutions. Each presentation should take approximately 10-15 min. |
