(tylko po angielsku) The goal of the MA seminar in linguistics IMAGE AND MEANING CONSTRUCTION IN LANGUAGE in term three is to carry out a thorough revision of theoretical distinctions and methodological prerequisites, and a consolidation of the above elements towards the materialization of a selected research project. • A thorough revision of terminological distinctions regarding descriptive linguistics, textual analysis, linguistic pragmatics and cognitive linguistics. • The revision of the guiding principles concerning research methodology (scope/domain and object[s] of study, theoretical perspective[s]). • The presentation of expository elements regarding the domain of study and theoretical perspective[s](based on literature) by the students. The presentation of objects (linguistic data) classified according to selected criteria of sudivision consistent with methodology by the students. |
